Artist’s Statement
ill Stamats is a Midwest artist with a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MFA from the University of Iowa. Light is the predominant substance in many of Bill’s paintings and determines the forms that eventually emerge. His work explores motifs of spirituality, materialism, and the environment.
